BPD Manufacturing Solutions has increased its membrane printing capacity by investing in flexographic printing facilities at their manufacturing plant in Pinxton, Nottingham.

The new machine, which prints up to 1.5m, will provide industry leading clarity for printing onto technical substrates such as spunbond. It is also capable of applying finishes to roll goods such as antistatic, hydrophillic and antimicrobial treatments. Furthermore a new high density microperforation system has also been installed delivering exceptional performance.

Added to the 3.0m printing capabilities in Merthyr, Wales, this new facility will allow BPD Manufacturing Solutions to tailor printing in response to material type, width, customer location and workload. This ability will further increase the efficiency of both factories, ultimately giving shorter lead times and increased customer satisfaction.
